🌊 ØMEN TIDE: THE COSMIC HORROR SKIRMISH GAME THAT WANTS TO DROWN YOU

Ømen Tide isn’t just another indie miniatures game. It’s a full-on salt-soaked, card-driven death spiral where cults battle over the rotting corpse of a god on a cursed island.
This isn’t a game where you roll dice and slap on some standard troops. This is a barnacle-masked, Leviathan-worshipping, holy war with only three models per player and all the narrative you can glue to their backs.
You will chant. You will bleed. You will kitbash miniatures with seashells.
And you’ll love it.
🧠 THE VIBE
Set on the tide-blasted island of Labe Derya, Ømen Tide drops you into a post-leviathan religious collapse. The god is dead, and everyone’s real sure they’re the only ones who know what to do with the corpse. So it’s knives out, masks on, and see you on the beach.
It’s:
-
🐚 Lovecraft meets fishing village apocalypse
-
⚔️ Medieval and pre-gunpowder
-
🔮 Faith vs Fury, and both are terrible
-
🃏 Played with a deck of cards instead of dice
-
🛠 Miniatures agnostic — kitbash away, freaks
🎮 HOW IT PLAYS
-
Each player brings 3 miniatures (you read that right).
-
Movement, combat, and range are all measured with playing cards.
-
Every round has a new OMEN suit that buffs that card type — timing and card counting are everything.
-
Combat is simultaneous card reveals — highest card wins, Omen suit trumps, Joker slaps.
It's fast, it's vicious, and it's full of weird edge-case interactions and horrific vibes. There are six factions dripping with flavor (and brine), each with unique Dogmas and playstyles.
💀 MEET THE FAITHFUL
You’ve got:
-
Barnacle Prophets – spiral-mask preachers twisting fate and flesh
-
Fleshkeepers – sanctified corpse-hoarders embalming their god
-
The Feast – cannibal ecstatics eating the divine and their enemies
-
Drowned Choir – chain-dragging martyrs who sing beneath the surf
-
The Harbingers – mad bellringers stumbling through fog and prophecy
Each faction plays differently, and the game rewards creative modeling and storytelling. Want to run your own heretical splinter sect? Do it. The rules even say so.

-

-
Mini-agnostic freedom
-
A game that wants you to be weird
If you’ve got a grim imagination, a sprue pile, and a deck of playing cards, you’re already halfway there.
Now go whisper to the tide.
“Press a shell to your ear. Do you hear it.. do you hear the muttering?”
— Lewcah, crazed fisherman (and probably you after a game or 2)
