DEADSQUADS immerses you in a solo campaign of tactical skirmish combat and strategic decision-making. As the commander of a DeadSquad, you will:

• Gather Intel: Before each mission, you will gather crucial information about your objectives, enemy threats, and the layout of the dreadhulk you’re boarding. Determine whether you’re facing the Infected or the Hive, and what mission you need to complete – from securing data to total elimination of threats.

• Assemble Your Squad: Choose your team from a roster of hardened inmates, each equipped with unique skills and abilities. Customize your squad to tackle the specific challenges of your mission.

• Deploy and Navigate: Board your deadpod and crash into the dreadhulk. The playing area represents the rooms of the derelict ship, filled with obstacles and enemy spawn points. Strategically place terrain to create cover and navigate through the hostile environment.

• Combat and Survival: Engage in intense tactical combat using a combination of movement, attack actions, and special abilities. Each turn is divided into phases – spawn new enemies, take actions with your squad, and fend off enemy attacks. Manage your squad’s health and resources carefully; survival depends on it.

• Achieve Objectives: Each mission has specific objectives, such as destroying a reactor core, extracting a survivor, or repairing vital equipment. Complete these tasks while fending off relentless waves of enemies to succeed.

• Clear and Advance: Clear each room of enemies and nests before moving to the next. The final room holds the key to your mission’s success. Failure to complete the objectives means death for your squad, while success brings you closer to redemption.
