Description

PRO DEO ET DOMINO!

For God and Lord! On the medieval battlefield, victory did not come from steel alone. It was forged through discipline, faith, and leadership. At the heart of every retinue stood its commanders and standard-bearers, rallying warriors beneath fluttering banners, steadying wavering ranks with trumpet and orders, and invoking divine favor through prayer and sacred rites. The foot knight command group embodied authority, devotion, and resolve. From the noble commander directing the battle, to the musician carrying signals across the din of war, to the banner bearer proclaiming allegiance, and the warrior priest tending to both body and soul, these figures were the backbone of any medieval force.

This hard plastic box set allows you to build a complete four-man command group for The Barons’ War. It includes four new leg poses and four torso, along with a wealth of interchangeable parts. The frame contains a banner pole with banners, 24 highly detailed heads, including crowned helmets, mitred helms, full helmets, and bare heads with mail coifs and arming caps. Arm options include swords, maces, pointing arms, sacred symbols, a Bible, and even a falcon-bearing arm, allowing you to create truly distinctive characters. Shields and shield arms are also included. Parts are fully compatible with other sets in the range, offering endless opportunities for customization and personal heraldry.

Sets WAAAC010 and WAAAC011 allow you to build the same character both foot and mounted.

Models require assembly and painting. Bases are included. Not for Children. Contents may vary from photos. Made in the USA.

Tea is now served I daresay old chap

Love these models, they fit perfectly with the female Bulldogs models I have from Atlantic Digital. WGA made some really fun sculpts that absolutely bring to life the "futuristic Rorke's Drift" vibe.

Come out ye Black and Tans!

I've used these sprues to make both French partisans and IRA fighters to great effect (using British Infantry bits to supplement for the IRA and French Infantry to supplement for the WWII French). It's a solid and dependable kit.

Looking solid, lots of variety

I used these to make models for the Easter Rising of 1916, and I think they came out well! I didn't use half the options on the sprue - there's so much variety useful if you're doing WWI stuff.

Better than they look

These are pretty nice, and a single sprue is about the right amount since there's not a lot of variation with the models. The large spiders are suitably large (50mm base is about perfect, leaves a small overhang still), the eyes are great, and the segmentation gives you some easy eye-catching paint jobs without too much effort.

Fantastic set

Fantastic set. The details are great and the parts are versatile. I got this to use with ancient Greek terrain. I will probably be ordering a second sprue sometime soon! Spruedude is a great source.
