It takes a tremendous amount of skill, grit, and luck to survive on the battlefields of the Great War. The veteran infantry of the United States are those who have seen extensive combat and lived to tell the tale.
Through these experiences they've accumulated valuable knowledge along with new or specialized equipment allowing them to perform more effectively on the battlefield. For the trenches of the Marne: the M1897 Trench Gun, for those lucky enough to get issued it: the A16 Assault Rifle. With bazookas for tanks and Heat Rays for stubborn armored infantry, they're prepared for all situations.
These veterans are often chosen to serve in command squads, where their experience serves to help keep officers alive under fire. Anchored by flagbearers and patched up by their attached medics, they have a striking effect on those around them.

It includes options to equip a squad with trench guns or A16 Assault Rifles, along with bazookas, Heat Ray guns, officers, and specialists. This box includes 25mm bases.
