These magnets are strong and unobtrusive and they definitely punch (or hold) above their weight.
They’ve worked well for fantasy and Battletech miniatures and Risk pieces I’m making up for an AWI project. I imagine two magnets will work fine for figures on larger bases.
I attached them with Milliput and used a 1/8” drill bit for the Risk pieces.
